Liverpool's Lazar Markovic is reportedly in talks with Fiorentina over a possible summer transfer.
According to Melissa Reddy of Goal, the Reds are hoping to earn £16 million from the sale of the Serbia international, who spent the second half of the previous campaign on loan at Hull City.
"The 23-year-old, who is not part of Jurgen Klopp's plans for the upcoming campaign, flew to Italy to assess whether the Serie A side would be the right fit for him as he carefully plots his next career move," the report continued.
It's noted by Reddy that Leicester City and Watford are also admirers of Markovic. However, it appears the winger is likely to head to Serie A, with the player "in discussions" with La Viola having been left out of Liverpool's pre-season plans.

When he arrived at Anfield for around £20 million, Markovic was rated as one of the most exciting young players in Europe. However, he failed to settle at Anfield, spending time on loan at Fenerbahce, Sporting CP and most recently Hull.
The former Benfica man was involved earlier in the summer and the Guardian's Sachin Nakrani suggested he may be able to add what the Reds need in wider areas:
However, he's failed to convince Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and is poised to move on after three years with the Merseyside club.
Markovic does have a lot of qualities. He's a graceful runner with the ball, can beat a man and is capable of conjuring moments of brilliance in matches; what's held him back at Anfield is his ability to do so consistently.
With the likes of Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho, Mohamed Salah and Adam Lallana battling for similar spots in the side, standards must be sky high. Therefore a permanent move makes sense for all parties this summer.
Markovic will be delighted to have a fresh start elsewhere, while Liverpool would be equally pleased if they can secure the amount aforementioned.
