“He said they should get me off set at once because he was reserving the role for his girlfriend! I was so disappointed and I felt humiliated. I ran into my car in shame. I could not even wait to take off my costume.”
She however expressed joy in the fact that the fact that the said lady got the role but couldn’t deliver the script as needed.
She said: “My happiness is that even after the girl got the role, she still could not deliver. And they almost called back me on set but the producer insisted he wanted his girlfriend to get the role whether or not she could act.”

She also touched on the fact that acting has taken away personal time and whatnot. She however admitted to being in a relationship.
She said: “As an actress, you never have time for personal issues. I am not just an actress, I am also a publisher and it has affected me a lot because I have to devote time to my magazine. If you have to make it in Nollywood, you have to give it your all. The moment you leave, they forget about you. So, I have to struggle between my magazine and acting and that has really been a great challenge for me. But it is getting better and I am sailing along.
“I am in a relationship but that’s private,” she said.
She however declined making any further comments on detaikls surrounding her relationship.
Meanwhile, she talked about her kind of man stating that she isn’t interested in his wealth but rather a man she can bond and grow old with.
She said: “I want a man I can grow with and not a man with questionable wealth or a man that is power drunk. I also can’t marry a man the society expects me to marry. I will marry whom my hearts goes out to no matter what he does because my happiness is what matters most and not the society.”
Ani Amatosero is from Koko, Itsekiri. Delta state. She read Architecture at the Enugu state university and other than movies and publishing, she runs her personal businesses.
